The table below helps you picture the budget for making a stainless steel exhaust hood for an eatery or restaurant kitchen. These are reference prices, not an official quote. Actual prices depend on size, stainless steel type, thickness, accessories and the price of stainless steel at the time of the work. Please contact the workshop for a survey and a specific quote.

Accompanying items that may be charged extra

  • Stainless steel duct: priced per linear meter, depending on diameter (250, 300, 400 mm...) and thickness. Elbows, tees and reducers are priced separately.
  • Smoke exhaust fan: depends on airflow and motor power; stainless steel housing and painted housing types are available.
  • Installation: depends on height, duct route, and whether it goes through a wall or the roof.
  • Rain hood for the exhaust outlet: priced per piece.
  • Transport: free or charged depending on distance, which the workshop states clearly during the survey.

Factors that change the price

  1. Stainless steel type: 304 is usually higher than 201 because it is more durable and rust-resistant. Kitchens with a lot of steam and cleaning agents should consider 304.
  2. Sheet thickness: thicker is sturdier and dents less, but uses more material.
  3. Stainless steel material price: fluctuates with the market over time.
  4. Complexity: hoods with cut corners, island hoods and hoods with several duct collars all take more work.
  5. Location: projects far from the workshop or hard to work on may add costs.

How to get an exact quote

  1. Call the workshop or message us on Zalo and describe your kitchen roughly.
  2. The workshop arranges a free on-site survey, measures dimensions and checks the exhaust location and power supply.
  3. The workshop sends a detailed quote stating the stainless steel type, thickness, dimensions and accessories.
  4. Both sides agree the plan and sign, and the workshop fabricates and installs.

Notes when comparing prices

When you receive several quotes, compare like with like: the same stainless steel type, thickness, size, included accessories and warranty. An unusually low quote may be from thinner stainless steel or a lower grade than described. The Phu Phong workshop states these specifications clearly in the quote and gives a 12-month warranty on structure and welds.
